And the winner is... Christine Bishop

Christine Bishop wins the second Merci reservation and $100 gift card in our referral challenge, which brought in 52 referrals and 20 new members.

Congratulations to Christine Bishop, winner of the second guaranteed reservation and $100 gift card at Merci in our six-week referral challenge. Wiley Becker and Susannah Hubbell finished close behind.

The challenge brought in 52 referrals and 20 new members. Referrals are the best way to grow, and we are working toward 300 members by 2027. Next time you talk with a neighbor, tell them why joining matters: advocacy on flooding, parking and sidewalks, neighborhood gatherings, and a voice in what makes Harleston Village great.

Yes for CHS, Charleston County

Election results · November 3

The Transportation Sales Tax passed.

Charleston County voters approved it with about 64% of the vote. It continues the existing half-cent tax at no higher rate and is expected to raise $4.25 billion over 25 years for roads, flooding, transit and green space.

For Harleston Village

Calhoun Street flood protection is funded.

$225 million for the Battery Extension near the Medical District, where routine rain floods our streets.
