Zoning and BAR Committee:

  • 131 Wentworth (J&W Corner Store): Wiley to monitor zoning variance issues, and Chuck to address livability concerns with the city regarding trash and operating hours.

  • 91 Montagu: No immediate action required; decision pending advice from Carter Hudgins.

Membership Committee:

  • Goals Meeting: Megan to schedule and lead a meeting next week to brainstorm goals and engagement strategies.

  • Neighbor Collaboration: Sync with Neighbor-to-Neighbor to avoid scheduling conflicts.

  • Membership Drive: Organize events like an oyster roast or fundraiser.

  • Social Media: Increase communication about events and updates via social platforms.

Parks Committee:

  • Collaborations: Ashley to schedule meetings with Charleston Parks Conservancy and city officials.

  • The Board approved moving regular meetings to the first Tuesday of each month at 5:30 PM, excluding July and August. Membership meetings will occur in Spring and Fall.
